How I Support My Energy & Recovery After 40

The Missing Piece Isn’t Doing More… It’s Supporting Your Body Better

If you’re already working out, eating well, and doing “all the right things”…but still feel like your energy, recovery, or sleep could be better, this might be worth looking into.


I signed up for MAKE as an affiliate before it even launched. At the time, BODi was going under and many of us coaches were losing our clients. Two of my close friends joined MAKE and encouraged me to sign up. It was free (and still is), so I thought—why not? But then I found the FASTer Way… and everything changed. 


I went all in. I felt amazing. I was getting results. And honestly?
I didn’t feel like I needed anything extra.

So I didn’t really pay much attention to MAKE at first.

WHAT CHANGED MY MIND

Then I kept watching one of my friends, Bronwyn.

She’s in her 60s… and her results stopped me in my tracks.


And let me be very clear: She works out, she eats well, 

and she follows a consistent routine.


This wasn’t a shortcut. But she added peptides to support energy, recovery, and longevity… and that’s what made me pause and say, “Okay… maybe this is worth trying.”

HOW I SEE PEPTIDES (IMPORTANT)

Let me be clear about this, because this matters:

Peptides are NOT the foundation.

Your foundation is:


  • Strength training 
  • Proper nutrition 
  • Walking 
  • Sleep 
  • Consistency 


That is what drives results.

Peptides are simply: an added layer of support

WHAT I’M CURRENTLY USING

MAKE FIT (Morning / Post-Workout)


  • I take this in the morning (usually after my workout) 
  • Sometimes after coffee, sometimes before—it’s flexible 
  • It has caffeine, but I personally don’t feel jittery at all 
  • I’ve actually noticed I don’t need my usual mid-morning coffee anymore 

Too early to say dramatic changes, but I’m paying attention to:

  • energy 
  • focus 
  • overall daily feel

WHAT I’M CURRENTLY USING

MAKE RESTORED (Night Routine)


  • I take this about 30 minutes before bed 
  • I’ve been using it just over a week 

And I’ll tell you this honestly:

I had one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time

That alone got my attention.

REAL TALK: THIS TAKES TIME

I’m not here to tell you:
“Take this and everything changes overnight.”

That’s not how this works.

Even with workouts.
Even with nutrition.

👉 Everything that actually works takes consistency.

So I’m in the phase of:

  • testing 
  • observing 
  • being patient 

And I’m excited to see how this supports me over time.

WHY I DECIDED TO TRY IT

At this stage of life, I’m thinking about:

  • Energy 
  • Recovery 
  • Longevity 
  • Feeling good day-to-day 

And if something can support that (not replace the work)…
then to me, it’s worth exploring.
